Stephen Diamond is the founder and CEO of SPD Advisors, which advises pre-IPO biotech and life science companies on business development, financing and corporate strategy.

​

Before founding SPD Advisors, Mr. Diamond led business development, financing and strategy for Freeline Therapeutics Holdings plc, a multinational Nasdaq-listed biotech company, while also serving as its general counsel. 

​

Mr. Diamond previously spent 12 years at Pfizer in a series of increasingly senior roles leading legal support for many of its largest and most complex strategic transactions, and was chief counsel to its Tax and Treasury teams.

Mr. Diamond received a BA in International Relations from New York University and a JD from William & Mary Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review.
